Chocolates In The World Starts With Our
Meticulous Process
Each and every single chocolate that we make starts off in
the mountains of Peru on a small farm filled with cacao trees, some that are over 50 years old.
These small farms, which have been owned by the same family for centuries, produce an heirloom variety of cacao beans that actually makes up less than 3% of the amount of cacao being farmed on a yearly basis.
It truly is some of the rarest cacao in the world!
Upon harvesting, these beans with the shell still intact, are fermented, carefully dried and as soon as the shell is separated they are immediately shipped to our factory here in beautiful Northern California.
As soon as the beans arrive at our factory we quickly get to work on transferring these unroasted beans to our traditional granite grinder.
From there, we’re able to produce fine, low-metal, raw cacao that is then combined with high-quality organic ingredients from around the world to make our delectable chocolate products.

Are Your Products Organic?
Organic non-GMO foods are not just better for people, they are also better for the planet and our future generations. We use 100% organic ingredients in all of our products, and are licensed to list organic ingredients by the state of California. We also will soon be a certified organic facility in the near future!
Are Your Products Gluten Free and Soy Free?
Yes! While we are not yet certified gluten free, we have never used any gluten, grain, or soy products in our kitchen.
Do Your Products Contain Palm Oil?
Never. Palm oil is not a traditional food and is often harvested with unethical and unsustainable practices. We do not believe it is a necessary ingredient to make great chocolate.
Are Your Products Vegan?
We are proud to say that all of our products are 100% vegan!
What Sweeteners Do You Use?
We use a combination of Organic Stevia, Organic Monk Fruit, and Organic Erythritol as sweeteners for our products.
We do use Yacon syrup on some of our truffles, which is a low GI sweetener with a similar taste and consistency to maple syrup.
Why are your shipping costs so high?
Chocolate is very sensitive to damage from heat - our chocolate in particular is more susceptible, since we refrain from using any additives or stabilizers.
We have taken several precautions to minimize all risks, including biodegradable ice packs and 100% recyclable insulation to protect your order from heat and direct sunlight. The weight of the ice packs, the box size, cost of insulation, and the 2-day transit time are all factors that affect shipping prices.
However, if there is any damage to your order upon receipt, please contact us immediately and we will make it right!

Are Your Products Keto Friendly?
While almost all of our products are a perfect fit with a Keto diet, it is possible you may have a different preference for your personal carbohydrate intake.
We recommend checking the nutritional information on our products to see if they align with your lifestyle!
Are Your Chocolates Fair Trade?
All of our cacao is responsibly sourced from Peru in order to avoid slave labor (as well as inferior hybrid varieties that are often harvested immaturely and over processed).
Workers are consistently paid far above the fair trade standard, and the chocolate we use is an heirloom variety that makes up less than 1% of the chocolate produced in the world.
Are Your Chocolates Safe For Diabetics?
Our chocolates were formulated so that people with diabetes are also able to indulge.
Almost all of our products are made with ingredients that have minimal effect on blood sugar with a glycemic index of zero.
However, you should always consult your doctor and check each nutrition label to make sure it suits your individual needs.

Currently we are only able to ship with confidence to the United States and Canada.
